Carbon reduction plan

Cewri is committed to achieving Net Zero.

Baseline emissions

Cewri was established in 2026 and considered sustainability and the business carbon footprint from before the business was operating.

We will continue to work to ensure the website uses as littlen energy as possible, carefully selecting and removing any unnecessary pages, images, videos, large files, unnecessary scripts, or overly complex designs.

We used Websitecarbon.com to find out the the website’s carbon use. When tested in April 2026, this website uses 0.16g of CO2 is produced every time someone visits this web page meaning 10,000 visits to the website over the next year would be the same as:

  • 19.18kg of CO2 equivalent - As much CO2 as boiling water for 2,599 cups of tea

  • 39 kWh of energy - As much C02 as 3,235 full charges of an average smartphone

  • 1 tree - the website emits the amount of carbon that 1 tree absorbs in a year.

  • 39kWh of energy - That’s enough electricity to drive an electric car 248km (or 154 miles).

Design choices

To keep our carbon footprint low, we have made the following design choices:

  • Reducing the use of images and compressing all live images

  • Ensuring that no large files and videos will be uploaded onto the site

  • Simplifying page layouts

  • Rewriting content so it was clearer and more concise

A lighter website loads faster, works better on slower internet connections, and is easier to use on older devices.

A commitment

Cewri remains firmly committed to building a more sustainable business by continually reducing our environmental impact across every part of our operations.

We actively review and work to improve the way we work, from minimising waste and choosing lower-impact materials to improving energy efficiency and reducing unnecessary travel and emissions.

We are committed to making responsible decisions that lower our carbon footprint while maintaining the quality and service our customers expect.

Sustainability is not a one-time initiative for Cewri; it is an ongoing commitment to creating a business that is more efficient, more accountable, and better for the environment now and in the future.
